A Volunteer event is planned near Ocean Reef Road in Wanneroo on Saturday 12 September 2026, as per the attached map.

All help is appreciated, young and old.

Time –                  9am to approximately 10.30am

Activity –               Weeding the Lupin in the bracken area.

What to wear –          Long pants and closed in shoes, hat/cap and gloves are recommended.

Suggested to bring –       Your favourite digging tool (cleaned), water bottle, sunblock and insect repellent.

A light morning tea will be provided after the event.

Please check the weather forecast and bring a jacket just in case of rain.
We work in the rain but not in a thunderstorm. All workdays will go ahead unless a thunderstorm is overhead.

When you arrive, please sign in with David, the site manager, to ensure you are covered by DBCA insurance.

Any volunteers attending a FOY site for the first time should advise the site manager, to be provided with a short Health & Safety briefing.
